HISTORY
- Barangay UP Campus was established on June 25, 1975 under the Executive Order No. 24 by then Quezon City Mayor Hon. Norberto S. Amoranto.
- The said EO was issued pursuant to Presidential Decree 557 dated 21 September 1974 decreed by the President of the Republic of the Philippines which converted all the existing barrios into barangays and abolishing the system of zone organization of barangays in Quezon City.
- The barangay operated as a duly recognized basic political unit in Area 23, Fourth District of Quezon City.
- It jas a land area of 493 Hectares and is divided into 16 political jurisdictions known as “Pook” that were further categorized into 2 sectors with the first sector including the "pooks" that belong to the Northern portion of the barangay and the second belonging to the Southern portion with the UP Sunken Garden as point of reference.
- Political Boundaries were as follows:
- North: U.P. Compound and boundary line of Barangay Culiat
- East: Katipunan Avenue to the boundary line of Balara Filter
- Southeast: U.P. Compound and boundary line of Barangay Loyola Heights
- Southwest: U.P. Compound and boundary line of Barangay Krus na Ligas, U.P. Village and San Vicente towards Culiat Creek
